No Potatoes!

I'm not sure WHAT Bob was expecting, but he was pretty disappointed that there weren't a lot of Potato stands or extravagant potato dishes in the restaurants.  He thinks were duped again!

We spent a few days in Northern Idaho.  Our RV park was a top rated RV park, but in the middle of nowhere.  We had to drive 45 minutes to get to anything interesting so that was a bummer.

Coeur d'Alene, ID

The town is on Lake Coeur D'Alene which is a dam controlled lake (25 miles long and 1-3 miles wide).  The lakeside City Park and Beach, McEuen Park and a great shopping district are right in town.  Bob went for a boat ride and I went shopping....a perfect day!

Sandpoint

A lovely artsy town on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced pondouray) which is Idaho's largest and most beautiful lakes. The Sandpoint City Beach is so pristine.  We ate lunch at Trinity which overlooks the beach

The Canadian Geese haven't made it to Canada ....and the plastic coyotes aren't doing much good to keep them off the city beach in Sandpoint.

Logging trucks and piles of logs everywhere!!!  Know where your lumber comes from.
