Seneca Falls NY...who knew??

We took a little side trip today and had no idea....

Fight for Rights.

and now it's a National Park in Seneca Falls.

The Seneca Falls Convention was the first women's rights convention "to discuss the social, civil, and religious condition and rights of woman".  It lasted two days over July 19–20, 1848.

In the 1840’s the economy of Seneca Falls depended primarily on foundry work  (cast iron pumps and sail irons).  Hmmmm....

but there are no falls in Seneca Falls...just FYI.

STILL LEARNING:  Today, I only had to jump off the RV once to check the bridge height to make sure it was high enough to clear.  Finally loaded the bridge height app!
